About the Event

We warmly invite you to a Power to Perform Evening on Wednesday 19th October at 5.00pm - 6.00pm where we will focus on specific revision strategies and how we can all support students during the upcoming examination period. Refreshments and a revision goodie bag will be provided.

All Year 11 students will be sitting a number of pre-public examinations (PPEs) week commencing 21st November. The provisional timetable for these exams has been given to the students.

All students are required to be in school at the normal times and will be taken to the examination rooms by their teachers at the times they are needed.  When students do not have an exam, they will attend lessons as normal. The examinations will be based on the work students have studied to date, and teaching staff will be working with students in their lessons to help them prepare. However, we also urge you to encourage your son or daughter to revise at home for these important examinations; strategies to help you with this will be discussed at the Power to Perform Evening.

We know that this will be an important period for students and, in order to help them during this time, we will be providing a range of support, such as extended break times and exam warm up sessions. Please also remember that we offer a free breakfast to all students from 8.30am.

May I also take this opportunity to remind you to download the Classcharts App, if you haven’t already done so. Once your account is set up, please do make it a habit to regularly log on and check for messages from the school so you don’t miss any important updates or information. We are moving towards sending all our communication with you via Classcharts,, and aim to move away from paper copies in the near future. If you have any questions, please email office@rha.kent.sch.uk.

If you have any concerns about the examinations, please contact the school to speak to a member of staff.
