Kent Police Visit - E-Safety Roadshow

E-Safety, is it worth it?

That's exactly the question that the Kent Police E-Safety Roadshow was asking yesterday afternoon, as students on the lower site took part in an exciting and interactive show designed to highlight why we should want to be safe online.

In a fun afternoon, students took part in games, quizzes and music to learn why we should keep ourselves safe when we use the internet. Following on from E-Safety lessons in school, the show used real world examples of what could happen if we don't take care, and who to go to if we feel worried.

The exciting performance helped students realise the importance of control and privacy, and how we can lose that control if we put things on the web without care for privacy settings - and trust in other people to not share things that might later embarrass you, or cost you a job!
