Easter Holiday Activity Programme
On the 8th November 2020, the government announced that the holiday activities and food programme will be expanded across the whole of England in 2021. The programme has provided healthy food and enriching activities to disadvantaged children since 2018. It has been confirmed that the programme will now cover the Easter, summer and Christmas holidays in 2021.
Thanet District Council have been working hard with various partners to organise an Easter Programme thanks to recent funding from The Department of Education.
What is the Holiday Activity Programme?
The Holiday Activity Programme is a free school holiday activity programme that operates during the school Easter and Summer holidays. The aim is to provide a high-quality holiday activity programme in Thanet's most disadvantaged communities, with a nutritious meal every day, free of charge.
