Dear Parents and Carers
On Saturday 27 November, the Prime Minister announced new temporary measures following the emergence of the Omicron variant of COVID-19 in the UK. Schools have received notification from the government today stating as from Monday 29th November face coverings are to be worn in communal areas in school by staff, visitors and students in Year 7 and above, unless they are exempt.
All students (in year 7 or above) should continue wearing face coverings on public transport unless they are exempt. We strongly urge that you and your family continue twice weekly lateral flow testing. Please contact the office should you need more home test kits. Thank you for your continued support.
