GCSE Results 2026

The Royal Harbour Academy is delighted with the achievements of its students in this year’s GCSE examinations, marking another year of ongoing progress for the school. 52% of students achieved a Grade 4 or higher in English, while 40% secured a Grade 4 or above in Mathematics.

The school celebrated many individual successes and some outstanding performances, including: 

Mary-Jane secured a grade 9 in English literature, a grade 8 and a grade 7 in science, 3 further grade 7s in design technology, English language and maths, a grade 6 in computing and a grade 5 in Spanish. Mary was delighted with her results and said: “I’m absolutely buzzing! I’m so glad all my revision paid off. So many teachers at Royal Harbour have been absolute legends and my friends have been a fantastic support too. I’m really looking forward to my future!”

Arber achieved grade 8s in English and science, grade 7s in maths and ethics and philosophy, grade 6s in English literature and history and a grade 5 in Spanish. Arber said: “I am really proud of my results, especially my English grade as English is my second language.”

Ashleigh enjoyed celebrating a collection of strong grades and said: “I’m shocked! I’ve made so much progress from where I was when I started secondary school. Teachers and friends have given me such amazing support and I’m so happy to be staying here for my sixth form studies.”

Jenny Luxmoore, Deputy Headteacher,  commented:  “It’s fantastic to see our students rewarded with the success they deserve. They should be incredibly proud of what they’ve accomplished and the personal challenges so many of them have overcome.”

Kris Lasslett, Head of School added:  “This year’s results mark a positive step forward in our mission of being a hub for social mobility. I would like to say well done to both our students and staff for their determination and commitment throughout the academic year.”
