Upper Site News

Welcome to Upper Site
Being part of one school makes the transition from the Lower Site to the Upper Site easy. While we keep some of the academic structures from the Lower Site, subject learning becomes more specialised as students move towards their public exams in Year 11.
On the Upper Site, we love to celebrate success and we actively encourage joining in and embracing all we have to offer, both in and out of the classroom here at The Royal Harbour Academy.
As Head of Year 9 we welcome students to the upper site where we build on the foundation from lower and help prepare them for their GCSE's in Year 10. We focus strongly on students' independence and confidence providing a range of enrichment opportunities and form activities.
Mrs K Cross

Head of Year 9
As Head of Year 10 we support the students in the beginning of their journey through their GCSEs and begin the stepping stones to a fulfilling career of their choice and look to encourage the students to become positive citizens in their communities.
