Geography Students Work Hard to Keep Their Environment Clean

This week, a group of fantastic Geography students at Royal Harbour Academy demonstrated their commitment to protecting the environment by taking part in a litter-picking initiative around the school grounds.

Armed with litter pickers and black bin bags, the students dedicated an hour to helping the site team remove litter from across the school site. Their efforts are part of the environmental awareness they have been developing throughout the year, learning about the importance of reducing plastic pollution to protect wildlife and our fragile ecosystems.

It is inspiring to see our young people putting their learning into action and taking pride in keeping their school environment clean. Their enthusiasm, teamwork and sense of responsibility are a wonderful example of the positive difference young people can make within their community.

A special congratulations goes to our Year 9 students Orlan, Paige, Angeleena and Macie, whose hard work, determination and commitment to the project deserve particular recognition.

Royal Harbour Academy is incredibly proud of these students for leading by example and helping to create a cleaner, greener school for everyone.
