Free School Meals Vouchers

Mrs Furlong our school Business Manger has confirmed that we will be issuing vouchers through the Wonde as in previous holiday terms, same for the HAF programme for all parents eligible for Free School Meals. Parents have also been sent discount vouchers for Southern Water for those eligible.

It is important to note that the food vouchers this term are for £50 not £90 as it was in previous terms.

Uniform

We are proud of our uniform at The Royal Harbour Academy and set high standards for all students, in all year groups. We believe that wearing a smart uniform helps instill a feeling of pride and community identity.

Please be reminded that hoodies, branded or labeled clothing, except coats, are not allowed on site.

While we do allow all black training shoes, other styles of trainers are not permitted and nor are jogging bottom or leggings.

We would also like to remind you that students should not have fake nails, and piercings are limited to one pair of stud earrings only. Students must also ensure that their hair colour and style is also appropriately formal, with only natural hair colours permitted.

If you have any difficulty purchasing uniform, please contact the school so that we can see how best to support you in ensuring your child is dressed appropriately and correctly.

Mobile Phones

From September we will become a phone free site, this will also include on the playground. Students are allowed to bring their phone into school to use before and after school, but will not be permitted to use them during the school day for safeguarding purposes.

Classcharts

You will shortly be receiving a pack of information regarding our roll out of Classcharts. If you have not received this information by the end of the week, please let us know. Classcharts is how we will now communicate with home and we appreciate you taking the time to read through the information we have sent and setting up an account where possible.
