The last day of term is Wednesday 19th July. Students are allowed to wear non-uniform on this day but should wear clothes suitable for school. We will be holding a range of reward assemblies at both the Lower and Upper Sites on this day to celebrate the successes and achievements of the year. Students will be dismissed from school by their form tutors at 12:15pm. Students who are entitled to Free School Meals may collect their lunch from the canteen on their way out. We ask that all students remove their belongings from their lockers and return their key to reception. New lockers will be assigned in September.
Return to School
Monday 4th September will be the first day of term for our new Year 7 students only.
Years 8 to 13 will start the new school year on Tuesday 5th September, at the following times:
Year 8 and Year 9: 8:35am
Years 10 to 13: 10:00am
Students will spend a short amount of time with their form tutors before starting their lessons as normal.
We are proud of our uniform at The Royal Harbour Academy and set high standards for all students, in all year groups. We believe that wearing a smart uniform helps instill a feeling of pride and community identity. Please be reminded that hoodies, branded or labeled clothing, except coats, are not allowed on site.
While we do allow all black training shoes, other styles of trainers are not permitted and nor are jogging bottoms or leggings. We would also like to remind you that students should not have fake nails, and piercings are limited to one pair of stud earrings only. Students must also ensure that their hair colour and style is also appropriately formal, with only natural hair colours permitted.
If you have any difficulty purchasing uniform, please contact the school so that we can see how best to support you in ensuring your child is dressed appropriately and correctly.
Please be reminded that we are a phone free school, this also includes our outside spaces. Students are allowed to bring their phone into school to use before and after school, but are not permitted to use them during the school day for safeguarding purposes.
So that you do not miss any important communication from the school, please ensure your notifications are switched on.
If you have any questions, please contact the school office.
