Incredible Achievements for Royal Harbour Students at National Street Dance Competition

Date: NSC at Sandford Holiday Park, Dorset

Where: 7th–10th November 2025

We are once again thrilled to celebrate the outstanding achievements of our Year 8 students at the recent Winter Wonder Jam, hosted by NSC at Sandford Holiday Park, Dorset, from 7th–10th November 2025. Competing against hundreds of dancers from across the UK, our students displayed exceptional talent, dedication, and teamwork.

Billie, Sofia, and Evelyn had a phenomenal weekend, competing in multiple categories and placing in every one. Highlights of their achievements include:

  • 1st Place in Solos (12 & Under) – competing against 25 soloists

  • 1st Place in Duos (12 & Under) – competing against 14 duos

  • 1st Place in Teams (Under 12) – competing against 3 other teams (4 teams in total)

  • 5th Place in a Quad – competing against a large number of groups

Many categories had 30+ competitors, and the girls often danced in heats, performing at least three times before reaching the finals. The under-12 duo category was the largest of all, making their victory even more impressive.

In an exciting new challenge this year, Sofia, Billie, and Evelyn teamed up with a dancer from another school to form a quad, something they had never done before. Despite it being their first time dancing as a four-person group, they achieved 5th place in the Under-12 squad category, a fantastic accomplishment!

Their commitment to their craft and the joy they bring to the stage are truly inspiring. We look forward to following their continued success in future competitions. Thank you for sharing your success with us. Fantastic work, girls – your school is incredibly proud of you and all that you have achieved!

We always love hearing about our students' achievements, both in and outside of school. If you have any accomplishments you’d like to share for our website and social media, we’d love to hear from you.
