This week, The Royal Harbour Academy hosted a special celebratory afternoon for our Year 8 students, marking the conclusion of their MYP (Middle Years Programme) journey at the Lower Site. This event celebrated their numerous achievements and milestones attained throughout their time at RHA.
Families of the students were invited to join the celebration, which began with a delightful performance by the RHA Wildflower Choir, setting a joyful tone for the afternoon. Following the choir's performance, certificates were presented to the students, acknowledging their hard work and accomplishments.
Ms Cross, Head of Year 8, expressed her pride and admiration for the students: "The students have put in tremendous effort throughout the year and achieved remarkable success. I am immensely proud of each one of them. I wish them all the very best as they transition to the Upper Site and beyond."
After the presentation of awards, students and their families enjoyed a sumptuous selection of treats. The catering department provided an array of canapés, while the school canteen offered hot dogs and cupcakes. Additionally, an ice cream van was available, adding a sweet touch to the afternoon. It was a wonderful day filled with pride and joy for our students and their families.
