Year 10 Students Enjoy Thrilling Trip to Chessington World of Adventures

Where: Chessington World of Adventures

On Friday 12th June, 45 of our Year 10 students visited Chessington World of Adventures as part of their Travel and Tourism BTEC. Students were able to gain first-hand experience of how tourism organisations such as Chessington, provide a range of products and services to their customers. 

We were blessed with some wonderful weather and the students had a thrilling time. Almost 70% of our students claimed that Mandrill Mayhem was their favourite ride, where they were launched forwards and backwards, going upside down through corkscrews! Our very own Mrs Essex wins the award for the biggest thrill seeker of the day! 

Our students were exceptional in their behaviour and attitude and they did an outstanding job of representing our school. It was a delight to be able to enjoy the experience with them and I am sure we will all remember it for a long time - well done Year 10! 

The Chessington trip will be available to current Year 9 students in June of Year 10.
