Year 12 Welcome Canterbury Christ Church University for Student Finance Workshop

On Monday 9th June, our Year 12 students had the pleasure of welcoming Dana from Canterbury Christ Church University, along with three of the university’s enthusiastic student ambassadors.

Dana delivered an engaging and informative session on the facts and myths surrounding student finance, helping students gain a clear understanding of the financial aspects of university life and their next steps after sixth form.

Following the talk, students took part in an interactive budgeting board game, led by the CCCU ambassadors. This hands-on activity allowed students to explore real-world financial decision-making in a fun and accessible way.

Both students and visitors thoroughly enjoyed the session, which was filled with valuable insights and lively discussion. We look forward to welcoming the CCCU team back at the end of June for the next Year 12 workshop in our ongoing careers and higher education programme.
