Vision Statement
Health and Social Care in KS5 covers a range of topics such as human lifespan and development, psychology and public health. The advanced skills gained during this course prepare students for a successful transition into a number of university courses as well as careers and apprenticeships.
Curriculum Overview
Students at KS5 can work towards a 2 A level or 3 A level equivalent qualification. They will study a variety of internally assessed assignments and sit externally assessed exams. Units studied include working in health and social care, psychology, anatomy and physiology, caring for individuals with dementia and mental health.
