"In life it is not necessarily where you are going that counts; it's what you leave behind" - Dan L. Miller
Vision Statement
Personal, Social and Health Education (PSHE) enables our students to become healthy, independent and responsible members of a society. It aims to help them understand how they are developing personally and socially, and tackles many of the moral, social and cultural issues that are part of growing up.
Curriculum Overview
During KS3 students follow a theme each term and delve into the moral, social and cultural issues of that theme. For Example, Year 7 Term 1 will look at Respect in school for their Independence theme, where as year 9 will look at Careers progression for their independence theme. All students have a careers programme run in collaboration with East Business Partnerships
Cultural Capital
PSHE offers a wide range of benificial oppourtunities for personal development. Through celebration days, contact with external practitioners and a wide range of diverse and professional resources.
