The Royal Harbour

Academy

RHA Wildflowers

The RHA Wildflowers have been very busy this term with rehearsals and a variety of performances. The first event of the term was the school’s Presentation Evening, where the group were the opening act. The rest of the term has seen the RHA Wildflowers giving up many hours of their own time to rehearse for a range of performances.

On the 3rd December, the RHA were invited to perform at the Academy FM Music and Christmas Market, which was held at the Upper Site; they were an amazing success with everyone who attended.

The following week, all of the Wildflowers performed in 3 performances of The Lost Lantern, which was a Christmas Show written by Miss Moss and Mr Priest. Students performed with a great deal of enthusiasm and the performances were thoroughly enjoyed by the students, families and out community.

Finally, on 14th December, our students were invited to Northdown Primary School Christmas Fayre, where they were joined by the local community. They students sang their hearts out for nearly 2 hours, and received so much praise from the Head of Northdown and the community.

Miss Moss, Head of Music, said: ‘I am so proud of all the students that are part of RHA Wildflowers, they are a credit to our school and the community. We are looking forward to our next show.’
