We had a fantastic time getting to know our 230 new Year 7 students last week on Transition Day. We had a busy and exciting day planned for our new learners, which we hope they enjoyed as much as we did.
The day included a range of activities, giving the students the opportunity to familiarise themselves with their new learning environment, and get to know the staff who will be working with them from September. All of the students got to try their hands at technology, PE, English and science.
Mr Lasslett, Head of Lower Site, said: “After spending the last 2 months visiting the students in their primary schools it was wonderful to finally have them in their new school. Staff and students had a thoroughly enjoyable day”
